“The Restless Ghost”.

The doctor’s prescription of the anti-allergy diphenhydramine was for only 3 days after the chemo.  It’s one of the reasons why I feel drowsy at nights.  But by the 4th day, without it, I go to bed early and after 1 or 2 hours, I toss and turn, turn on the radio, the TV, pray, look out of the windows, pee or poo.  Who could get uninterrupted sleep at night when all you do during the day is watch TV, do social media and some light household chores?  And because my taste buds are compromised and I hardly eat during the day, I go to the kitchen to get some biscuits and cocoa as I usually feel the stirrings of acidic stomach.  If I were a ghost, I would scare my home companion as she hears me walking restlessly up and down the stairs.  I just hope I don’t meet a real ghost first.
